Radiooooo - a cool website where you can listen to music from different of areas and eras!! I've found so many new songs through there.
Groovy Crochet - a very oldschool website (made in 1999!!) that just has a bunch of crochet patterns from the 60s/70s. Yes, they are very dorky. I am the most devout 70s fashion apologist out there and I can admit that. That doesn't pull from the fact that I find the site very cute.
Free Vintage Crochet - a different website also dedicated to sharing vintage crochet patterns that range from the early-to-mid 20th century (1910s-1970s). Lots of cute stuff. Alternatively, if you like to knit, there is also Free Vintage Knitting.
Filmart Gallery - a websited dedicated to showing off cool movie posters - in the highest, sexiest quality possible. They also have a section dedicated to the work of Saul Bass.
Wikipedia:Unusual articles - name says it all, it's a wikipedia list of strange and very interesting articles on the site. It's crazy addictive.
Funked Up East - a youtube channel that shares cool, funky, and not well known music from soviet nations from the 20th century.
The Geocities Gallery - a website that allows you to look at archived geocities sites! There is something so sweet about reading the words the people in the past wrote.
Last Week Tonight with John Oliver - one of my favourite shows at the moment. He's a late night comedy host that covers lots of important topics in an entertaining and easy to understand way. All of the main topics of each episode is available on youtube for free!! (I love this show so much)
Trey the Explainer - a youtuber who makes videos relating to archelogy, anthropology, cryptozoology, palentology, history, etc. Each video is an incredibly interesting and well made look into a fun tidbit of history. I especially reccomend "The Native Bigfoot", "Books You Can (Never) Read", "The Archaeology Iceberg Explained", "The Fabulous Fashion of the Minoan Civilization" and "The Story of Onfim (a Medieval Child)".
Intelexual Media - a youtuber who discusses history; she primarily focuses on the perspectives of black people and women. She currently is releasing a series that focuses on the events and culture of the 90s that I like a lot. I also reccommend her 'Let's Talk about Sex... History!' playlist, which talks about the evolution of attitudes towards sexuality throughout history.
Metropolis!! - Fritz Lang's 1927 magnum opus. Previously lost for decades, almost the entire movie was found, restored and posted on youtube for free!! This is one of my all time favorite movies, it is honestly so beautiful and a must watch.
